Statement of Faith: B.R.I.M.S.T.O.N.E.

B – Bible (Scriptures)

We believe in the 1611 A.V. King James Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of God. It is the final and supreme authority for all matters of faith, conduct, and doctrine.

Note: ( We Politely Ask that you Leave your NASB, ESV, NKJV, NLT, NIV, and CSB Hog Wash at the door, We are KJVO! please and thank you. ) We believe that the KJB corrects the 1881 Textus Receptus Greek Garbage written by Fredrick Scrivener that Scholars and EVERY Single Modern Preacher today claim was used in 1611, We do not have any of the originals or any copies of the Greek manuscripts that the KJB Translators used in 1611! If we are holding the perfect word of God in our hands when we hold the KJB, (which we are!…) then there is no need to grab a Corrupt Lexicon like Strongs Exhausted Concordance to re-enginer your own interpretation into what the Text Clearly says; Therefore we REJECT any and all Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek “Reliable Manuscripts” other than the absolute authority for all Faith and Practice - The King James Bible!

It’s Simple; Let the Bible Define itself and IF Aid is required use the 1828 Webster Dictionary for “Guidance, not absolute authority!”

As Pastor of Warfare Baptist Church I would HIGHLY recommend that one should NOT attend any College or Institute for any Ministry sake, but if you do, you’ll mostly be told what not to do. Read the Bible for yourself!!, and let the Holy Spirit Guide you!

Although the KJB was Published in 1611 we Believe in the standardized 1762 Cambridge Edition and NOT the 1769 Oxford Edition due to very fine differences. Henceforth we Believe in the PURE CAMBRIDGE EDITION (PCE) and therefore would be called “Cambridge Purists”. It took about 151 years for the multiple 1611s to be standardized into what it is today. Due to printing errors, for example if two of the three 1611s said one thing while the other one said another Standardization works by siding with the two, not the one. Ex: Ruth 3:15, Jer. 34:16, and 1 Kings 8:56.

We Believe in every Jot (Dotting of an “i”) and Tittle (Crossing of the t) Shall not escape of the Law. Ex: Matt.5:18 (If the Letter “j” becomes a Capital “J” then the letter has then lost its “Jot”.)

( No one today uses a 1611, People either use a 1769 or hopefully a 1762 KJB, We also believe that the italic words in the KJB are truly inspired. Ex: in 1 John 2:23 with half the verse italicized Fredrick Scrivener or Franken Stein for better terms sewed a bunch of Greek together making the italicized word have a greek word in the TR knowing the reason that they’re italicized is because They weren’t there in 1611! )

Psa. 12:6 “…purified seven times…”

This represents the seven Pure English translations God used to eventually lead up to the KJB! here is the list:

1.) Tyndal’s Bible1525 2.) Coverdale’s Bible1535 3.) Matthew Bible1537 4.) The Great Bible1539 5.) The Geneva Bible1560 6.) The Bishops Bible 1568 7.) The King James Bible1611

References: 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Psalm 119:105; Hebrews 4:12.

R – Rapture (The Blessed Hope)

We believe in the imminent, personal, and bodily return of the Lord Jesus Christ to make his Church be caught up before the time of the Great Tribulation. This event is the "blessed hope" that serves as an encouragement for believers to live in holiness and expectancy. (PRE-TRIBULATION)

References: 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52; Titus 2:13; Revelation 3:10.

I – In Three Persons (Trinity)

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal in power and glory, sharing the same divine essence, yet distinct in their roles within the Godhead.

References: Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Deuteronomy 6:4; John 1:1-2, 14.

M – Man’s Need (Human Condition)

We believe that Adam was created in the image of God Perfect but fell into sin through disobedience (We are made in the image of Adam, not God). As a result, all people are born with a sinful nature, are separated from God, and are utterly incapable of earning salvation by their own merit and must lean on the work that Christ did on the Cross.

 References: Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12; Ephesians 2:1-3.

S – Salvation

We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received solely through repentance and faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. This redemption is complete and secure, granted apart from human works or religious traditions.

(This is where our Church believes different then most others Baptist Churches solely because we believe it is sound doctrine!, We believe in DISPENSATIONAL SALVATION! which means in the whole Old Testament one is saved by Works and Faith, in the Age of Grace one is saved by faith alone leaning on Jesus’ work on the Cross, in the Tribulation one is saved by Works and Faith, and in the Millennial one is saved by Works and no Faith.)

References: Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5; Romans 10:9-10; John 3:16.

T – The Son (Jesus Christ)

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died as a substitutionary sacrifice for our sins, was bodily resurrected, and has ascended to the right hand of the Father.

 References: Philippians 2:6-11; Isaiah 7:14; 1 Peter 2:24; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; John 10:30, 14:6.

O – One Body (The Church)

We believe the Church is the spiritual body of Christ, composed of all true believers. Its mission is to gather for worship, administer the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper, and make disciples of all nations. note: We do NOT believe that the Church is the physical bricked building but only the Born Again Baptized body of the Believer.

References: Matthew 28:19-20; 1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Ephesians 1:22-23; Acts 2:42.

N – Nature of the Spirit (Holy Spirit)

We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead, co-eternal with the Father and the Son. He convicts the world of sin, regenerates the heart of the believer, indwells the body of the Church, and empowers the saints for holiness and effective witness.

  • In the Whole O.T. it is possible to lose your salvation Ex: Samson - Judges 16:20, David - Psalms 51:11, and Saul - 1 Samuel 16:14.

  • In the Age of Grace (the current time period) It is Impossible to lose the Spirit Ex: Eph. 1:13, 4:30, 1 Tim. 1:15-16.

  • In the Tribulation it is possible to lose your salvation Ex: Rev.13:16-17.

  • In the 1000 year Millennial it is possible to lose your Salvation: If you don’t do the Sacrifices Ex: Ezekiel Ch.40-48 (one can’t go by faith in the Millennial because Jesus is seen and according to the definition of faith in Heb. 11:1 Christ is clearly seen as we reign with him 1000 years, when one is under the law as in the Millennial and they don’t do the Sacrifices their righteousness counted for nothing which is spiritual because it says SOUL not BODY! see Eze.18:20.)

 References: John 16:7-8; John 14:16-17; Titus 3:5; Acts 1:8.

E – End of the Trib. (Return of Christ) (Armageddon)

We believe the return of Christ will signal the end of the Tribulation, the final resurrection of the dead, and the culmination of God’s righteous judgment. He will usher in the new heavens and the new earth, where He shall reign eternally in perfect peace and justice. (Not to be confused with the Rapture which will happen before the Tribulation starts.)
